  1. I have tried to find online a scientifically proven time to soak raw nuts in vinegar or bicarb of soda in order to eliminate aflotoxins.
    So far no luck.
    I am hoping you can find the answer.

    1. Ok I found a potential solution. With invisible mold on a book that you sense from smell alone, the sun should work. But for visible mold, here’s what I found. It’s a mostly dry solution. You’d gently brush off any mold that’s able to be brushed off your book using a soft and dry cloth. Then, the recommendation is to wrap another fabric over your vacuum hose. I’d imagine it would need to be an extremely weak vacuum or one with that setting, or else you’d risk destroying the book. They say to carefully vacuum the paper with the fabric around it. For the next step up after this, it’s recommended to lightly dab a soft cloth moistened with either denatured alcohol or hydrogen peroxide on your moldy pages to spot clean them. I’ve not tried these.
